Contact FindTheMovers
Contact FindTheMovers by emailing hello@findthemovers.com for corrections, listing updates and press inquiries. Moving quotes are handled through the site's quote form, not by email. When requesting a correction, include the company name, the specific change needed and a source or document that supports it.
Contact FindTheMovers
The fastest way to contact FindTheMovers is by email. Send messages to hello@findthemovers.com. We read every message and reply within two business days.
Use that same address for three kinds of requests: corrections to company pages, updates to your moving company's listing, and press inquiries. This keeps everything in one place and avoids delays.
How to request a correction
If you contact FindTheMovers about a factual error, include the company name, the page URL, the exact text that is wrong, and what it should say. Attach a source document if you have one: a CPUC permit screenshot, an FMCSA SAFER page, or a company registration with the Arizona Corporation Commission. We review corrections against our editorial policy and update the page when the evidence is clear.
We do not change public Google ratings or review counts. Those come directly from Google and update on their own schedule. We also do not remove a company from our data unless it has ceased operations or we have made a clear inclusion error.
Moving quotes: use the form, not email
If you need price estimates for an upcoming move, do not email hello@findthemovers.com. Instead, fill out our quote form. That form collects your origin, destination, move size, and date so we can match you to relevant moving companies in California, moving companies in Arizona, or moving companies in Nevada. Quotes come from the movers themselves, not from us.
Our data includes 1,003 companies across 663 places we cover in the three states.
What we publish and why
We list name, rating, Google review count, base city, and whether a company is based in that city or is a national brand or franchise. We do not invent services, years in business, or awards. You can read more about how we rate moving companies on our methodology page.
We also do not make phone calls to verify prices or mystery-shop movers. Costs on our site are planning estimates based on reported ranges, not quotes. Here is what we currently show for local and long-distance moves:
| Move type | Arizona planning estimate | Nevada planning estimate | California planning estimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hourly (2 movers + truck) | $120-$190/hr | $130-$210/hr | $150-$250/hr |
| Studio / 1-bedroom | $380-$850 | $400-$900 | $450-$1,000 |
| 2-bedroom | $700-$1,500 | $750-$1,600 | $800-$1,800 |
| 3-bedroom | $1,100-$2,700 | $1,200-$2,900 | $1,300-$3,200 |
| 4-bedroom | $1,800-$4,100 | $1,900-$4,300 | $2,000-$4,800 |
| Long-distance 2-bedroom | $2,500-$5,400 | $2,600-$5,600 | $2,800-$6,000 |
| Long-distance 3-bedroom | $4,000-$9,200 | $4,200-$9,500 | $4,500-$10,000 |
California rates run higher in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Every move is different. Get written estimates from at least three movers before you book.
State rules to know before you hire
The three states we cover have different mover regulations. This affects what you can verify and who handles complaints.
- California: Intrastate movers need a CPUC permit (CAL-T or older MTR number) and insurance on file with the commission. Look up the permit in the CPUC carrier search before booking. Interstate moves fall under FMCSA.
- Nevada: Movers need a Nevada Transportation Authority certificate. Ask for the certificate number and check it against the NTA list. Heavier trucks also need a USDOT number.
- Arizona: No state moving license exists. Check the company's USDOT number on FMCSA SAFER, its Arizona Corporation Commission registration, and its complaint history with the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau.
We do not verify licenses or endorse any company. We publish public Google ratings and basic facts so you can do your own checking.
